BERNADETTE DORAN, BS, RMT
Director

For more than 25 years, Bernadette Doran has been a global catalyst for change, growth and personal and organizational success. A dynamic leader, award-winning writer, and inspiring educator, Bernadette offers a rare combination of expertise in helping organizations and individuals achieve self-perpetuating vitality through leading-edge mind-body medicine.

From her undergraduate days as a biology major, Bernadette has pursued a passionate study of bioenergetic principles and therapies. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at Loyola University, Chicago, and pursued postgraduate work at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.

Bernadette is a Reiki Master Teacher in the traditional Usui System of Natural Healing (lineage of Phyllis Furumoto) as well as Karuna Reiki (lineage of William Lee Rand), and has practiced and taught Reiki throughout the United States and Australia for more than a decade. She was a member of the faculty of the California Naturopathic College in Del Mar for two years.

She studied hypnotherapy at Boston Hospital, and trained with Brent Baum, developer of Holographic Memory Resolution® (HMR), to become a Level Two HMR practitioner. Bernadette studied with Serge Kahili King, Ph.D., for certification asn a Hawaiian huna energy healer, and with Roslyn Bruyere, Deepak Chopra, Joan Borysenko, Elmer Green, and Candace Pert, among others.

Bernadette is registered with the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP), is an active member of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) and the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine (ISSSEEM), and is on the ISSSEEM Energy Medicine Task Force. She lectures extensively on a variety of subjects, from stress management to energy medicine.

Before focusing on her bioenergy practice, Bernadette was a senior vice-president with three global corporations, working in Chicago, New York, and Melbourne, Australia. She gained an international reputation for ground-breaking leadership techniques and won dozens of awards for business effectiveness and creativity.

She is also an award-winning author and has published extensively in local and national publications. Some of her pieces have been included in anthologies, including a U.S. Federal Government resource directory on Viet Nam veterans, a children’s reading program, and Australia: True Stories of Life Down Under. In addition to being the director of EQUILIBRIUM Energy + Education, Bernadette is also the president of Industrial Strength Soul, Inc., which offers on-site employee workshops, executive seminars, and training in conscious leadership.

JANE ALBRIGHT

Gifted from birth, Jane Albright discovered that her ability to see human energy fields increased dramatically in her efforts to connect with her younger brother who died very unexpectedly. Soon afterward, Jane took formal training to enhance and expand her natural talents and work professionally as an energy reader and healer. Jane is also a Level Two Reiki practitioner.

Our energy field holds virtually limitless information about us, including patterns and choices we have made and are making. By reading and working with your energy field, Jane brings to light issues that you are facing, helping you to gain deeper understanding and new awareness. The process allows you to move through limiting issues, break up patterns that no longer serve you, release old energy, and create profound healing for both spirit and body.

SUZANNE FRAKER, BS, RM

A longtime resident of the South Loop with an interest in landmarks preservation, Suzanne Fraker is delighted to be working in the historic Dearborn Station which she watched being restored.

Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan. She has always been fascinated with color and light and has done much study in these areas. She is certified by the International Mandel Institute, Switzerland, as an Esogetic Colorpuncture Practitioner, and is certified by the Aura-Soma International Academy of Colour Therapuetics, England, as an Aura-Soma Practitioner. She has also studied with the Tama-Do Academy of Sound, Color and Movement, and is a Level One Practitioner.

Suzanne is certified by the Tama-Do (Way of the Soul) Academy of Sound, Color and Movement in Malibu, CA, as a Level One practitioner. She is also a crystal healer trained by Melody and certified by the Association of Melody Crystal Healers, Inc.

In addition, Suzanne is a Reiki Master and holds a diploma in therapeutic massage from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy. She has studied energy healing with Roslyn Bruyere and Barbara Brennan.

Suzanne has been President of the Women’s Health Executives Network, a Board Member of the Illinois Women’s Political Caucus, and is profiled in the recently published book, The Courage Code.

ANDREA LOPEZ, RMT

Andrea I. Kealohamakalani Lopez has truly devoted herself to helping others heal and grow spiritually. She is a member of the Theosophical Society and a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP). She is the founder of Spirit Rebuilder®, a healing technique, to assist people in their journey to achieving their soul’s higher purpose. Her technique is based on the belief that profound advances can be made by first identifying and then addressing the root of any and all circumstances that burden the soul’s essence.

A true student of learning, Andrea has studied many forms of healing. Andrea is a Reiki Master Teacher in the traditional Usui System of Healing and studied with William Lee Rand to become a Karuna Reiki® Master teacher. She completed her Akashic Records training with Linda Howe and Christina Cross of The Linda Howe Center for Energy Integrity, and Crystal Healing with healer and author Dawn Silver. She continues her Shamanic apprenticeship under Claudia Arredia, pipe carrier and peace chief of White Horse Band, and Debbie Springsteen, pipe carrier and a White Horse Band lieutenant. Andrea learned Tibetan healing practices with Lama Surya Das, and Tibetan Bowl Sound Healing with Diane Mandle. Andrea is an advanced practitioner of Hawaiian Energetics, which she studied with Kumu Ed Kaleolani Spencer. She is also a level two practitioner of Holographic Memory Resolution®, taught by Brent Baum.

Andrea has done her Shinpiden level of Kaigen Reiki Ryuu with Mark Monaco, Pranic healing training with Elizabeth Sedeno and Master Stephen Co. She has also had the pleasure of working with Doreen Virtue and is a Certified Angel Intuitive™ .

After studying with some of the best teachers in their respective fields, she developed an integrated use of those modalities to heal strenuous karmic ties and limitations, to free oppressed spirit so that it may bask in the freedom and joy that divine energy brings. Her integrated technique is called Spirit Rebuilder®, which begins with accessing the client’s Akashic Records to address three crucial questions. From there the remainder of the healing treatment is established, integrating various healing modalities Andrea has been trained in, as directed by the Akashic Records.  No two souls are alike, therefore no two Spirit Rebuilding therapies are alike.

ELLANI MAURIDES, RMT

Ellani is a Reiki Master Teacher in the traditional Usui System of Natural Healing (lineage of Phyllis Furumoto). She has a passion for Reiki and inspiring others to heal themselves.  This passion grew from a lifelong desire to heal and learn from life’s many challenges.  Personal metaphysical experiences and interest in nutrition, Western medicine, meditation and self-hypnosis eventually led her to Reiki. While looking for a way to deal with stresses of life in the corporate world, she began her Reiki journey and training in 2001.

Ellani has lived in the Chicago area and northern Illinois her entire life.  She received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees from University of Illinois, at Urbana-Champaign.  Prior to her current career in energy healing, she was a stay-at-home mom, an Assistant Professor at University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, Health Sciences Library, and worked for 22 years at a large pharmaceutical company. During her various careers, she earned awards and recognition for contributions to the community, the organizations, and sales performance. Because of her 26 years’ experience in medical education, Western medicine, and the pharmaceutical industry, Ellani brings a unique perspective to energy healing.  She has seen, first hand, the need for early intervention and integration of alternative and complementary therapies as part of the healing process.

Giving back to the community is important to Ellani, and she has volunteered in a variety of capacities, including serving on public library boards, developing volunteer programs at a public library and community health department, and working with children. She currently volunteers as a Reiki therapist at a non-profit cancer support facility.

JESUS OLIVAN

An extremely gifted healer and natural shaman, Jesus Olivan specializes in deep healing through a unique combination of vibrational therapies for each client.

Vibrational therapy is based on the scientific principle that all matter vibrates to a precise frequency, and that by using various stimuli with resonant vibration, the balance of matter – including physical, mental and emotional well-being – can be restored.

Trained in a broad variety of modalities, Jesus integrates such vibrational therapies as Reiki and Shamballa energy therapies, gemstone therapy, color therapy, and sound therapies, including singing bowls, Tibetan chimes, and the Australian didgeridoo.

He is most passionate about his extraordinary collection of healing gemstones and the powerful results they achieve. “I work with the stones, and they work with me. We are a team,” he says. Jesus is dedicated to helping his clients not only come into balance on all levels, but also find an unshakable place of peace and clarity as they move through life’s daily challenges.
